Broken download link for UPS PIco HV4.0 driver bundle — pico_setup2.7_HV4.0.py missing

Hi,

I'm trying to update the on-Pi driver/config scripts for my UPS PIco HV4.0B/C (currently running firmware 0179, confirmed already latest via i2c.read_word_data(0x69, 0x38), so no firmware update needed — just the Python-side tooling).

On the Firmware Updates (https://pimodules.com/firmware-updates) page, the newest entry ("pico_setup2.7 and pico_status1.6", dated 30.12.2025) links to:
https://pimodules.com/download/61/public/5109/scripts_rpi_4_pico4_sdc16gb_30122015.zip

That zip downloads fine, and its own scripts_usage_commands.txt says to run:
sudo python3 pico_status1.6_HV4.0.py
sudo python3 pico_setup2.7_HV4.0.py

But the archive only actually contains:
- UPS_PIco_HV4_BL03A.py (bootloader) + firmware hex reference (0179 — matches what's already installed)
- pico_i2c.py (older Python 2 daemon)
- pico_i2c.service.txt
- pico_status1.5hv4.0.zip and pico_status1.6_HV4.0.zip
- scripts_usage_commands.txt

pico_setup2.7_HV4.0.py itself is missing from the zip, even though it's referenced in the instructions. The filename itself also looks off (sdc16gb_30122015 reads like an SD-card-image naming pattern, not a scripts bundle), so I suspect the wrong file got linked.

Could someone point me to a working download for pico_setup2.7_HV4.0.py, or fix the link on the firmware-updates page? Happy to provide more details if useful.

Yes, you are right. Still working on that. This week release with many many add-on functions. Sorry for the delaying, just M.2 took more time than expected

@piadmin Any update on when the new firmware will be ready? You have been promising it for over quite a while now. And please, just be honest. If it is not coming anymore, just say so. You could also consider open sourcing the firmware. Then embedded software developers like me could help you.

Just updated the new fresh made image of the latest version of Raspberry Pi OS, with everything installed as also the MC installed. We also updated the scripts to a newer versions. the SD card is 16 GB image.

The user is pi and password is 1

NOTE: We are doing the ready OS for our customers, however they are only for a reference. If you need you can to adopt the 16 GB SD card to other sizes

Next days I expect to release the newer version of firmware, still under testing.
