connection keeps dropping

tested in 4 ways
1 Poe
2 Power supply

PoE :
Unifi Udm Pro to unifi USW 24 Poe switch
from switch to pi with an inverter (24v passive out)

pi power supply:
- switch Poe off
- switch Poe off and 100Mbps FDX
- Udm pro

in each scenario the connection drops spontaneously or after the reboot of the pi

to get a new connection, the pi has to be disconnected every time and therefore restarted

what could this be
any idea how to counter this?

regards

carlo

easy

Poe or power

new sd
new image
in the pi
boot pi via Poe or Power
putty ssh

sudo apt-get update

starts catching up data

ssh stops
connection gone

led of the utp is off no more connection

disconnect pi from
PoE or power

connect pi to
PoE or power

new connection utp led blinks again

ssh pi

some commands and connection is lost again

Whatever scenario I think of
after some time the connection drops and I have to restart the pi by disconnecting it from power or PoE and reconnecting it

Hi,

What I understand is that you are loosing the interaction between UPS PIco HV4.0 and Raspberry Pi.

Please confirm you are running the Daemon on the Raspberry Pi. If you are not sure how to do it, please use temporary or SD image to check it, and the we will go step by step to help you to prepare your own SD card.

But for the testing purposes please use our SD image provided here:

I made an image copy 16GB, updated and upgraded with everything installed. Please try this. The link to it is provided in the text file you can downloads from here:

https://pimodules.com/download/61/public/3365/image_12_05_2022_link.txt

User:pi

Password:1

Just download this *.txt file, use provided in it link, to download the SD card image, unzip, and then use provided in the zip file imager program to burn the SD card.
